We can not believe that Addison is already 9 months old. These past 9 months have been more fun and more tiring than we ever could have imagined.....but since Addison joined our family - we can not imagine life without her. I realize that I posted many of her milestones when I launched her blog, but like many of my fellow mommy-friends, I like to celebrate each monthly "birthday." My friend Mollie gave me a great idea, to take a picture of Addison each month next to the same teddy bear to document her growth during her first year. Here is my attempt to take her 9 month photo (she was not very cooperative):

My how she has grown since she was 1 month old:

At 9 months, specifically she:
- measures in at 21 lbs 12 ounce and 28 inches long, 90th and 70 th percentiles, respectively
- loves crawling
- loves climbing up on everything (she is now pulling herself up in her crib and will be standing when I go in to get her)
- claps her hands
- loves to scream. She makes the funniest face right before she decides to scream (it is so hard to catch on camera)
- say mama and baba (we are now working on dada)
- has become impossible to change her diaper - all she wants to do is roll over. This is when I will tell her "no" and she will then laugh at me.
- waves hello and good-bye
- is quite social when we are at the grocery store - she will wave and smile at most anyone. This makes me laugh, as she still is not the most social when it comes to other people holding her. She is such a phony and will give crocodile tears when she is picked up by anyone other than Mommy or Daddy.
- loves playing with her cousins
- gives the animals a kiss when we read "Guess Who Farm Friends"
- is getting a bit of a mullet
- started to eat some table foods. so far she has had (and really liked) American cheese, bananas, watermelon, ice cream and popsicles. of course her favorite is the ice cream.

One of her new favorite activities is pulling apart magazines. We can no longer store magazines (or at least ones that we are interested in actually reading) on the shelf of our coffee table, as she will head straight towards them and tear it apart.

Her new favorite sleeping position:
